The Honda has come and gone....

Sometimes…things just don’t work out like you thought they would. This was the case with the Honda VLX. Nothing on this bike was easy to work on, with the exception of changing the oil and filter. Every job required watching countless YT videos and buying special tools (ever tried changing the plugs on a VLX?). Honda built a great little motor, but the engineering and accessibility of the coolant, battery, cables, etc left a lot to be desired. I pulled the plug a couple months ago and sold the bike to a guy in North Carolina. I’m not normally glad to see a project leave the garage, but in this case…I was thrilled. The hunt continues for the next project.
